Application was made underneath each high density polyethylene (HDPE) and nearly impermeable movie (VIF) overlaying the soil mattress (the furrow was left uncovered). Soil gas distribution of the fumigants, along with emissions into the headspace above the bed, sidewall and furrow have been determined over time. Total emissions from the HDPE treatment have been cis 1,3-D 28{ba001e18389df7520355fa6d1d9ab7d4a1f9ec77cec85e592eb8ec0edea01c6c}, trans 1,three-D 24{ba001e18389df7520355fa6d1d9ab7d4a1f9ec77cec85e592eb8ec0edea01c6c}, and CP 8{ba001e18389df7520355fa6d1d9ab7d4a1f9ec77cec85e592eb8ec0edea01c6c}. Due to its lower permeability, the values for VIF had been 13{ba001e18389df7520355fa6d1d9ab7d4a1f9ec77cec85e592eb8ec0edea01c6c}, 7{ba001e18389df7520355fa6d1d9ab7d4a1f9ec77cec85e592eb8ec0edea01c6c}, and 1.5{ba001e18389df7520355fa6d1d9ab7d4a1f9ec77cec85e592eb8ec0edea01c6c}, respectively. With HDPE, the majority (86-ninety three{ba001e18389df7520355fa6d1d9ab7d4a1f9ec77cec85e592eb8ec0edea01c6c}) of the emissions occurred from the bed, whereas for VIF the majority (92-99{ba001e18389df7520355fa6d1d9ab7d4a1f9ec77cec85e592eb8ec0edea01c6c}) of the emissions was from the furrow.
In this comparability, only one,3-D emissions under HDPE had been lower with drip software; 1,3-D emissions under VIF and CP emissions underneath both films have been greater with the drip utility. We measured the kinetics of ozonation response of 1,1-diphenylethylene (DPE) in synthetic snow, produced by shock freezing of DPE aqueous solutions sprayed into liquid nitrogen. It was demonstrated that most of the reactant molecules are in direct (productive) contact with gaseous ozone, thus the approach produces snow with organic molecules largely ejected to the surface of snow grains.
